You may choose which alerts you want to receive via email. While most email alerts are turned ON by default, there are some that remain optional but may be useful to you.
To change alerts by email, follow the steps below.
- Click Account Settings from the Profile Menu.
- On the Account Settings page, click the Preferences tab, then Notifications on the left sidebar.
- Go through the list and select which items you want to have an email alert sent. You may choose to receive email alerts for all activities, for direct messages and mentions only, or none at all. Clicking the Do Not Disturb button allows setting a range of times during which no alerts will be sent to you. You can also choose to get New User Introduction and Daily Digest emails.
- Once done, click Save.
