Use Notes for anything you need to remember, and store them in topic-specific Notebooks to ensure that you can look them up anytime, secure in the thought that if you need to look something up, you can just pull it up from a Note in your Notebook.
Notes within your Notebook are contained in two (2) columns. The left column contains a list of all the Notes you have created. Clicking a Note on the list brings up its details on the right column.
- Click either the + button on the top left or the Write a Note button to create new Notes.
- Click the Funnel button, then enter a tag (you should have defined this when you first created the note) to search for a Note.
- Sort notes to narrow down your search.
- If you click the More options button to the right of each open Note, you may choose from any o the following actions that you can undertake on a note.
To move a note to the top of your Notes list, click Star. You can also convert the Note to an Idea, Publication, Invention, or Challenge, or delete it from the Notebook under which it is saved.
From the Note's Detailed View, you may perform the following actions:
- Add the Note to a Book
- Add Tags to the Note
- Edit the Note's details
If you click the More Options menu to the right, you have the following available options:
Removing a bookmark from the Note, showing comments made on the Note, uploading a file to the Note, adding a reference and/or checklist to the Note, converting the Note to an Idea, Publication, or Invention, and deleting a Note, are among the other actions you can perform on a Note.
